Scholarships totaling over £1 million have been offered by the University of Birmingham (UoB) for students from India. The Indian students with the best grades and extracurricular activities will be able to attend the university thanks to these scholarships offered by the varsity.

Undergraduate and graduate scholarships for the 2024–25 school year will be awarded automatically for certain majors, and there will also be merit-based grants. Business, Computer Science, Arts, Law, Geography, Earth, Environmental Science, and Environmental & Physical Sciences are all part of this category.

How Apply for the Indian student scholarship by the University of Birmingham

If you are interested in applying for the scholarships, please fill out the online application. Once you have received an offer to begin one of our full-time programs that qualify, they will send this to you via email. Prior to submitting, please read the email and application instructions thoroughly.

Multiple scholarship application deadlines occur throughout the year. Applying early is advisable to prevent disappointment, as scholarships are granted based on availability. It is recommended to submit your scholarship application before the specified deadline to receive a decision on or before the designated decision return date. Eligibility and scholarship deadline

In order to be eligible to apply, you must fulfil all the following criteria:

  • You must have received an offer from the University of Birmingham to start one of our full-time MSc programmes based at our Birmingham campus in September 2024 (see list of eligible programmes).
  • 1st class or second class upper: must have, or expect to receive, a first or second class honours degree or equivalent

The following are the application period for this year.

  • 15 January 2024 – 29 February 2024
  • 15 March 2024 – 30 April 2024
  • 15 May 2024 – 28 June 2024

Undergraduate and graduate scholarships for the 2024–25 school year are available in a variety of subjects, including Business, Computer Science, Arts & Law, Geography, Earth & Environmental Sciences, and Environmental & Physical Sciences.

Twenty £4,000 Outstanding Achievement Scholarships will be distributed to undergraduates, fifteen £2,000 India Chancellor Scholarships will be distributed to postgraduates, and thirty £2,000 Global Masters Scholarships will be distributed automatically.
