6. Accommodation Information
To qualify for a visa to visit Ukraine for any purpose, you must provide details of where you will be staying. If you are staying at a hotel, then proof of payment or pre-booking will be required. 7. Return Ticket

Types Of Ukraine Visa
There are three types of Ukraine Visa, and they are listed below.
Short-term Visa
This visa type is issued to any foreigner who wants to stay in the country for just 90days within 180days. This could be a single, double, or multiple entry visa valid for only 6 months.
Long-term Visa
This visa is issued to any foreigner who wants to stay in Ukraine for more than 90days and plans to get a temporary residence permit.
Transit Visa
This visa type is issued to a foreigner who wishes to travel through Ukraine for a maximum of 5days. Transit visa can be single, double, or multiple and has a validity of a year. Countries With Visa Exemptions
Ukraine has two different categories of persons who do not need to obtain a visa before traveling to the country. The first list contains five countries with access to visit and stay in Ukraine for as long as they wish. These countries are Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia.
The second list has countries that do not need a visa too to travel to Ukraine. However, visitors from those countries have a limited stay period of 90 days out of every 180 days. Therefore the countries on these lists are exempted from obtaining a visa before they can travel into Ukraine.
Ukraine Visa On Arrival
Visa on arrival is a Ukraine Visa, which is for those who are staying in Ukraine for a maximum of 15 days. To obtain a visa on arrival, you must show that you are a tourist, on an invitation, or any other document establishing your short stay in Ukraine. You must also be a citizen of an eligible country. A Ukraine visa on arrival is available at three entry points: (a) Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany), (b) Odesa International Airport, and (c) Kyiv Boryspil Airport.
Ukraine Electronic Visa
An electronic visa is an alternative if one does not qualify for a visa on arrival. It needs some requirements that can be accessed only online. The electronic visa is also made available for people who travel for tourism, treatment, sport, education, and business.
Ukraine Visa Application PROCEDURE
Before applying for a Visa, one must recognize the following:
- Submit your visa application online: You can apply for your visa online at visa.mfa.gov.uai. Ensure you are clear about the type of visa you wish to apply for and the information you need to provide. You can then fill the form.
- Booking an appointment: The next step is to book an appointment at any Visa Application Centre and make sure you show up on the fixed date. Appointments can be rescheduled if, for any reason, you cannot get to the appointment on the designated date. However, money cannot be refunded once paid.
- Making payment: After you have provided the necessary information, you will also be required to make payment online for your visa, which can be done using your debit card, credit card, PayPal, etcetera. Ukraine Visa Fees
Visa fees vary from one country to another, and it also solely depends on the type of visa you have obtained. However, Ukraine’s Embassies charge 65 US dollars as the basic visa fee required to process visa applications via regular service. Urgent services incur double fees.
Visa fees for some types of visas for certain countries might be different from the basic visa fee aforementioned. For a single entry e-Visa, 20 US dollars is charged, while 30 US dollars is charged for a Double-entry e-Visa.
Except there is a fixed amount set by Ukraine’s international relations, the MFA visa divisions charge a 2550 UAH fee at the border checkpoints at ‘Odesa’ and ‘Boryspil’ international airports. Please bear in mind that there is no refund of fees paid to get a visa.
What are the Covid 19 regulations for Ukraine Visa Applications?

But countries with high occurrences of covid-19 are required to take a test and go through quarantine immediately they arrive at the international airports in Lviv, Kyiv, and Kharkiv.
