A State By State Guide To 2021 US Corona-Virus Regulations

The United States of America has been affected by the Corona-virus effects for well over a year now. Over 21 million Americans have been infected by the Corona-virus, with well over 274,000 confirmed cases this January 2021 alone.

There have been over 365,000 deaths, with more than4,000people succumbing to the effects of Corona-virus in January 2021 alone. So as the United States of America continues to battle with this pandemic, some things have changed, and new rules and regulations have been put in place by various areas to combat the further spread of the Corona-virus. Here is a list of the regions in the United Areas of America and their regulations regarding the Corona-virus pandemic.

Alabama

In the area of Alabama, there exist no strict journey constraints, but journeyers to Alabama have to be aware that they have a strict mask-on policy in public, which areas that people have to wear their masks at all times whenever they are in public places. This policy, however, will come into effect from January 22, 2021. Their food establishments are also open to the public, but many of them have expanded their outdoor seating setting to ensure adequate spacing between tables and customers.

Alaska

In Alaska, there exists a compulsory 14-day self-isolation phase for journeyers who are over the age of 10. But for people who are not currently living in Alaska and who are over the age of 10 and who wish not to go through the self-isolation phase, they will have to go through a corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation, and the negative end-result will have to be uploaded to the Alaskan Journey portal. They would also have to turn in a journey declaration form and a plan for self-isolation while in the area of Alaska to the journey portal. Journeyers who are still awaiting check, analysis, and evaluation end-results would also have to upload proof that they underwent the Corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation and must undergo self-isolation until the end-result of the check, analysis, and evaluation are available. Those who did not take a Corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation before journeying into Alaska would be administered a Corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation upon arrival at the airport at the cost of $250 to be paid by the journeyer, and they must also self-isolation until the end-result of the corona check, analysis and evaluation are available.

California

In the area of California, there exist no set strict regulations to be followed by incoming journeyers, but the Governor of the area (Gavin Newsom), on December 3, ordered a stay-at-home order which was regional in order to contain the spread of the Corona-virus. Hotels, motels, and other accommodation establishments also do not accept reservations from people who are not within the area of California, except the stay are for a minimum of two weeks (14 days and above), and the guests will have to observe self-isolation and self-isolation within their premises of living or accommodation. Places within California like San Francisco and Santa Clara County have a compulsory self-isolation and self-isolation phase for incoming journeyers. The mandated phase for self-isolation and self-isolation is a minimum of 10 days. Also, incoming journeyers who are aged 16 and above and who are journeying into Los Angeles will have to fill and turn in a form online that acknowledges that they understand the L’s journey requirements and regulations. A County and if they fail to fill and turn in that form before arrival in L.A, it attracts a fine of up to $500.

Colorado

In the area of Colorado (which is a popular holiday destination and tourist attraction)requires incoming journeyers to fill a health affidavit form. Available on request a negative Corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation, which has been gone through not more than within 72 hours of journey, or they would be mandated to go through a compulsory 14- day self-isolation phase. Non-essential journey into and outside Colorado is not recommended but not stopped.

Connecticut

Incoming Journeyers entering into Connecticut from various areas like New Jersey, New York, and Rhode Island have no strict enforceable journey regulations and constraints. Still, journeyers from other areas must face a compulsory self-isolation phase of 10 days. They must fill out and sign a Connecticut Journey and Health Form upon their arrival in Connecticut, or they would be forced to pay a fine of up to $500.

Hawaii

The beautiful island of Hawaii has a compulsory 10-day self-isolation rule for journeyers into the island. Still, to avoid that, you would have to turn in a negative corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation end-result. The check, analysis, and evaluation,end-result, also have to be obtained from a well-established and trusted check, analysis, and evaluation partner before you begin your journey into Hawaii. Journeyers would also have to upload their negative check, analysis, and evaluation end-result to their safe Journeys Systems. If they wish to do so, they can also come with a hard copy and provide it when requested before boarding. Note also that on arrival, 25% of the journeyers who used the pre-journey check, analysis, and evaluation will be selected at random to be checked, analyzed, and evaluated a second time mandatorily. This second compulsory check, analysis, and evaluation, however, is free of charge. People who wish to visit Kauai, another island also in Hawaii, will have to go through a self-isolation phase even if they have a negative check, analysis, and evaluation end-result unless the journeyer is qualified to stay in a “resort bubble” hotel. Journeyers who fail or are unwilling to comply with Hawaii’s requirements and regulations risk being fined up to $1,000 or spending one year in prison.

Illinois

There are no enforced extensive regional constraints in Illinois, but areas outside have specific assigned colors, which are red, yellow, and orange. Journeyers coming in from areas that are assigned red will have to observe self-isolation for 14 days.

Those from areas assigned orange would have to produce a negative corona-virus end-result, which was taken no more than 72 hours ago (three days), or would be mandated to observe the self-isolation. Those who are assigned a yellow color have no specific requirements or regulations.

Kansas

Journeyers from or have previously been to or been in a large crowd of people outside the area and where the persons present in that large crowd did not observe safety precautions would have to observe self-isolation upon their arrival in the city of Kansas.

Those who have been on cruise ships, a river cruise on or before the date of March 15, would also have to self-isolate immediately upon their arrival in Kansas. Another crop of people who would also be observing self-isolation would be those who have received notifications from either an area or local health officials that they have been in approximate proximity with a laboratory-confirmed case of corona-virus.

Maine

Those willing to embark on a journey to Maine will need to produce a satisfactory corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation end-result performed within 72 hours of the journey. The area of Maine also accepts both PCR and antigen check, analysis, and evaluations. You would be required to fill out and sign a Certificate of Compliance which indicates that you have a satisfactory corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation end-result and that you are willing to self-isolation for a phase of 10-14 days or that you have already gone through your self-isolation phase. The only exceptions to these regulations and constraints are residents of New Hampshire and Vermont.

Maryland

Journeyers to Maryland have to get a satisfactory corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation done within 72 hours of arrival. In the absence of that, on coming into Maryland, they will have to self-isolate and self-isolation for ten days. The journeyers exempted from this regulation are those from the area of Delaware, West Virginia, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Washington DC.

Massachusetts

Journeyers to and residents who are over the age of ten and are returning to the area of Massachusetts would have to fill out a journey from before they arrive in Massachusetts unless they are journeying from regions in which the Department of Health has categorized as low-risk regions, and as recently as January 4, 2021, Hawaii was the only area categorized as low-risk. Journeyers must also provide a satisfactory corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation and, in the absence of that, would have to be self-isolated for a phase of 10 days.  Failures to adhere to these regulations will reap a $500 fine per day.

New Hampshire

Journeyers to New Hampshire from New England regions (Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island) do not need self-isolation. However, journeyers from outside of the areas above will need to self-self-isolation for a phase of 10 days. Those who provide a satisfactory corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation end-result on or after the seventh day of self-isolation will be owed to cut short their self-isolation early.

New Jersey

Journeyers to New Jersey are supposed to undergo a  self-isolation phase of 10 days, but this is voluntary and non-enforceable, even though New Jersey’s area expects journeyers to comply willingly.

Non-essential journeying within and outside the area is also discouraged, and journeyers are asked to fill a form that will contain information about where they are coming from and their intended destination.

New Mexico and New York

Journeyers to these regions are mandated to self-isolation for a phase of 10 days upon their arrival in these regions. They are also required to fill out a health form. Journeyers to New York who exit the airport in New York before correctly filling out the given health form would be subject to a $10,000 penalty and sanction.

Ohio

Journeyers into Ohio from regions that report positive check, analysis, and evaluation rates of 15% and above are highly advised to do self-self-isolation for a phase of 14 days. As recently as December 30, 2020, 14 regions have a positive check, analysis, and evaluation rate of 15% and above.

Pennsylvania

Journeyers to Pennsylvania have to get a satisfactory corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation done within 72 hours of arrival. In the absence of that, on coming into Pennsylvania, they will have to self-isolate and self-isolation for ten days. Those who run afoul of these regulations and constraints could be fined upwards of $300.

Rhode Island

Journeyers who are journeying into Rhode Island from regions and areas with a positive check, analysis, and evaluation rate of 5% and above have to observe a self-isolation of 14 days. Those who do not want to isolate will have to get a good corona-virus end-result taken within 72 hours of entry.

Vermont

Any journeyer journeying into Vermont from other regions, regions, and counties, including returning residents, would have to go through a self-isolation for 14 days mandatorily. They could also provide a satisfactory corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation on or after the 7th day of self-isolation to cut short their self-isolation.

Washington DC

Washington requires that journeyers who are undergoing a journey from an area with a daily case of 10 per 100,000 people must take a corona-virus check, analysis, and evaluation and provide a satisfactory end-result. After three days, any journeyer still in the area will have to be check, analyzed, and evaluated again. Tourists are discouraged from visiting during this phase.

The other regions or regions and counties not enumerated and itemized above do not have any strict nationwide constraints. However, the governments in these regions advise against unnecessary and non-essential journeys to and from these regions.
