This week, Madrid hosted ‘AfroMadrid2025,’ a conference supported by the African Union focusing on people of African descent. The event aimed to discuss restorative justice and the creation of a new development fund, highlighting Spain’s intention to deepen and diversify its relationships with the continent and its nearby neighbours across the Strait of Gibraltar.
