Share

“We are now accepting applications for the Tri-County cattlemen scholarship.” Gayle Baker, secretary of Tri-County Cattlemen, encourages students enrolled in agricultural post-high school education programmes to apply for one of the seven scholarships the organisation offers.

The deadline for tri-county cattlemen scholarship is March 15; thus, please send  your scholarship applications by that date. The application would be forwarded to a neutral third-party judge, who evaluates each of our submissions. By the time of the award dinners, notifications will have been sent out.

How To Apply For The Tri-County Cattlemen Scholarship

You can find scholarship applications at the tri-County cattlemen scholarship website. Every year, the Tri-County Scholarship Fund grants about 500 scholarships to deserving students in Kindergarten through 12th grade, provided that their parents complete the financial aid application and upload their family’s financial records to the private and secure website by the deadline of February 15th. Student Qualifications

  • Financial Need: Scholarships are provided on the basis of financial need. To prove need, families must complete an application using the FACTS application system by the deadline of February 15th.
  • Geography: The student must be a resident of one of the following counties: Morris, Passaic, or Sussex, OR the school they intend to attend must be situated in one of these counties.
  • School: In addition to applying for a Tri-County Scholarship, students must also apply to a Tri-County partner school that has received accreditation. Here is a list of our current partner schools. Please get in touch with us if there is a school in our service area that you would want to attend but it is not on our list.
  • Priority: Each year, students must reapply for scholarships. As long as they continue to demonstrate financial need, beneficiaries of previous Tri-County scholarships are given priority. Recipients from previous years must apply by February 15th with their most recent financial data.
  • usual Financial Profile: A single parent home with several children and an average yearly salary of $30,000 is the usual background of a scholarship recipient.

The Tri-County Cattlemen Scholarship Deadline

The deadline for submitting an annual application is February 15th. All students who are interested in applying for a scholarship for the upcoming academic year, both past recipients and current applicants, must submit their financial information by this date.

Because it takes FACTS two weeks to input the information into their system, be sure to apply well in advance of the deadline. To enable Tri-County to make choices, ALL papers must be received and completed by February 15th.
