In this role, you’ll wear the hat of a changemaker:
- Champion: Spearheaded the strategic development and delivery of a comprehensive portfolio of knowledge events, empowering deep tech chemistry ventures with crucial insights and connections.
- Architect: Design and execute engaging workshops, mentoring sessions, and networking opportunities, crafting a vibrant ecosystem for entrepreneurial growth.
- Connector: Cultivate a robust network of stakeholders – investors, academics, industry leaders, and policymakers – to propel ventures towards success.
- Mentor: Offer insightful guidance and access to valuable resources, propelling aspiring entrepreneurs on their journeys.
- Advocate: Champion diversity and inclusion, ensuring equal opportunities for all in the dynamic world of science entrepreneurship.
- Evaluator: Analyze program effectiveness, continuously refining approaches to maximize impact.
You’re the ideal candidate if you:
- Possess a science-related degree or equivalent experience.
- Deeply understand the needs of deep tech startups and scaleups.
- Have proven business development and engagement skills.
- Maintain a strong network within the UK’s deep tech ecosystem.
- Experience planning and delivering online/in-person events (including training).
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with initiative and organization.
- Collaborate effectively, sharing ideas and problem-solving skills.
