Seniors from local high schools are encouraged to apply for the Better Business Bureau Charitable and Educational Fund, Inc.’s scholarship essay contest as BBB is now accepting applications for scholarships

The BBB Life Lessons Essay Contest encourages students to consider leading morally and ethically by providing a theme-based essay prompt. The essays are turned in online, and judges review them.

The awards for the best six essays will range from $500 to $2,500. Seniors in high school who attend institutions within the 64-county service region of the BBB—which comprises 52 counties in West Virginia and 12 counties in Ohio—are eligible to enter the contest.
