Great British Railways Launches First Official Branded Train

As the government forges ahead with bold rail reforms, passengers in Britain already enjoy a better rail experience, with frozen fares and numerous additional benefits, including: - Increased services: 76,000 additional seats weekly in the December timetable uplift, featuring 60,000 on LNER services on the East Coast Main Line, and over one million passenger journeys on Northern’s new Northumberland Line. - Solid performance: Publicly owned c2c and Greater Anglia rank among the top providers for punctuality and reliability, with more than 90% of trains arriving within 3 minutes of schedule and cancellations under 2%. - Enhanced onboard experience: With its transition to public ownership, SWR has more than quadrupled the deployment of new ‘Arterio’ trains, which are faster and provide more onboard space. - Greater flexibility: Passengers can travel with reassurance that if a train is canceled, they can use another publicly owned service within a two-hour window for free.
