This scholarship is established in recognition of the contributions of F.L. McEwen, who served as Dean of the Ontario Agricultural College (OAC) from 1983 to 1990.
The scholarship is available to students who are entering a full-time master’s program in a department or school of the OAC and have an interest in the field of agriculture. Preference will be given first to students with research interests in sustainable agriculture and second to those who have participated in extracurricular activities in this area.
To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have graduated from any undergraduate degree program offered by the OAC. The scholarship is worth $5,000 and will be awarded to one student.
