The Chuck Silverman Memorial Drum International Awards is for students enrolling for a bachelor’s degree.
It is also for students who have applied to the Associate of Arts in Performance (AA Drum) or applied for a Bachelor of Music at the Musicians Institute.
The awards target students that excelled in previous educational endeavors that are enrolling for the 2021/2022 academic session.

General Requirements
- Acceptable courses are the Associate of Arts in Performance (AA Drum) or a Bachelor of Music (Drum).
 - New or returning students of Associate of Arts in Performance (AA Drum) or Bachelor of Music (Drum) can apply for the scholarship.
 - Previous successful contenders are not eligible for this grant.
 - Students enrolling for the Associate of Arts in Performance (Vocal) Program, or the Bachelor of Music in Performance (Vocal) Program, may also apply.
 - New or returning students in any program at the Musicians Institute are eligible.
 - Applicants must provide a YouTube video URL. The video must contain at least the following;
- The applicant performing three (3) songs in any style or genre.
 - It is required that the songs include two (2) live ensemble (band or duo) performances, and one (1) unaccompanied solo (a cappella) piece.
 - No play-along tracks will be accepted.
 
 - All scholarships are non-transferable and cannot go to any person, program, or start date other than those for which they were originally awarded.
 - Scholarship recipients who fail to meet minimum academic requirements during their enrollment will forfeit any remaining award balance.
 
Scholarship Value
Applicants will be awarded a Bachelor of Music certificate. Also, the university will provide $1000 credited in the first quarter of the program.
Application Instructions
- Applicants must submit their applications before the scholarship application deadline elapses.
 - Scholarships are non-transferable, and may not be applied to any person, program, or start date other than the one for which it was awarded.
 - Additional documents will not be asked by the University but there is a possibility of asking at the time of the admission.
 - Applicants must have at least three years of study on the primary instruments of guitar, bass, drums, vocal, or keyboard.
 - Applicants must show a credible level of English Language proficiency.
