Are you an international student who has demonstrated excellence in your academic activities? If so, the University of Dundee wants to reward you for your hard work with its Global Excellence scholarship.
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:
- Hold an offer to study an eligible Undergraduate or Postgraduate Taught course at the University of Dundee. Note that the course must be 120 credits for Undergraduate and 180 credits for Postgraduate Taught, except for the PGDip in Professional Legal Practice.
- Have achieved UK BBB A-Level or above (or equivalent) for Undergraduate and UK 1st Class degree (or equivalent) for Postgraduate Taught.
- Be classified as an International Fee-paying student by the University of Dundee.

- Have a course tuition fee of £19,600.
The scholarship is worth £6,000 and is awarded as a tuition fee waiver. It is paid in each year of applicable study:
- Undergraduate applicants can receive the scholarship for up to 5 years of progressing study. (£30,000 over 5 years).
- Where the course is a 3.5-year Undergraduate Degree (School of Business), then the scholarship will only be applied in Year 2 onwards.
- Postgraduate Taught applicants (including Master of Research and Masters by Research) – where the course spans more than 12 months full time, and a full year tuition fee is due in each academic year, then the scholarship can be applied in both years of study.
To apply for the scholarship, you don’t need to fill out a separate application form. The University of Dundee Admissions Team will use all the information in your course application to determine if you meet the eligibility criteria. They will verify this at the initial Offer Stage. If you have ‘pending’ academic achievements at the point of Offer, the University will not be able to confirm the scholarship until they receive and verify your achievements.
