The 2021 Royal Institute of Painters applications 209th exhibition is open for applicants as they pursue the best in fashionable watercolor and liquid media painting.
Eligibility Requirements
- Eligible Countries/ Regions: Open to applicants from all countries and Regions
- Gender Restrictions: No Gender Restrictions
- Age Restrictions: 18 Years Minimum
General Eligibility Requirements
Acceptable media:
- Watercolor painting
- Acrylic painting
- Liquid ink painting
- painted gouache on paper or on a supported paper-based
These exclude oils that are water-soluble
- Applicants works must be formally shown elsewhere
- Applicants must submit a least 6 arts or less
- Applicants must select at least 4 arts or less
- The applicant work must be well presented and appropriately bordered, and frames with metal clips are not allowed
- Applicants are to submit works of height 2.4 meters high and weight 1.5 meters wide, as well as the frame.
- All applicants work on sale must not go below 350 pounds
- Applicants works on the sale must include 45% and a VAT charge
- Applicants works that are presented poorly or significantly vary from the entered image are counted ineligible for an exhibition

- Applicants should endeavor to check with HM customs and revenue: http://www.gov.uk
- Applicants transferring their work from home for the program should endeavor to make use of a picture carrier.
