Legal Aid Provider Survey 2026 Deadline Now Extended

The Legal Aid Provider Survey is currently available for all providers with an active legal aid contract, having opened on 27 April 2026. Your involvement is crucial in enhancing the evidence-base related to legal aid provision. We particularly encourage participation from larger firms with multiple offices to ensure a diverse array of perspectives is represented in the findings. This collective input will aid in improving our understanding of the capacity and demand for legal aid services. The insights gathered from this Legal Aid Provider Survey will empower the Ministry of Justice and the Legal Aid Agency (LAA) to grasp the current market dynamics and challenges faced in collaboration with service providers. Increased participation will significantly enhance the value of the insights we collect, leading to improved client services. How does the survey function? On 27 April 2026, providers with active legal aid contracts received an email along with a link designated for each of their offices. These communications were directed to the designated liaison, a staff member appointed by each firm to communicate with the LAA. The emails originated from ProviderSurvey@justice.gov.uk. If you did not receive the survey link by 27 April 2026, please have your nominated liaison check their junk or spam folders.
