The support hub for victims of terrorism is set to open on June 1, offering 24/7 assistance to aid survivors in their recovery journey. Operating round-the-clock, the new support hub ensures that each victim and survivor is assigned a dedicated caseworker for personalized, trauma-informed guidance. This includes specially-trained personnel for children and young adults, as well as mental health assessments and psychological support via the National Psychology Service for Victims and Survivors of Terror at West London NHS Trust. Cheryl Stollery, whose husband John Stollery survived the Sousse terrorist attack, praised the establishment of the support hub, pointing out the significant trauma and obstacles that survivors encounter and the critical need for centralized support. Travis Frain OBE, a survivor of the Westminster Bridge attack, pointed out the challenges victims face in securing assistance and stated that the support hub represents a crucial step in better supporting those impacted by terrorism.
