The Bank of America’s 2023’a Summer Internship Program for Undergraduates

Date:

The Bank of America is offering a unique opportunity for undergraduates and recent graduates to gain real-world experience in the financial industry through their 2023 Summer Internship Program. The program, designed for young students, is a paid internship that offers a broad range of experiences and allows participants to gain insights into what it’s like to work as a full-time Corporate Banking Staff.

During the internship, students will be placed within one of Bank of America’s coverage teams and work across different countries, industries, and products. The internship is focused on meeting the banking needs of large-cap global corporate and financial institution clients around the world. It will be based in London, with additional offices in Amsterdam, Dublin, and Zurich.

To be eligible for the internship, applicants must be students of college or university or recent graduates with strong A-level grades and on track for a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent). Fluency in English is essential for all roles, and a second European language may also be required for some roles. The bank is looking for candidates who have a drive, innovation, and a genuine interest in the financial markets, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving skills, and creativity.

During the internship, students will assist Global Corporate Banking professionals in relationship management, origination, and execution across a diverse set of product areas. They will also gain an in-depth understanding of clients and the industries in which they operate and learn about the variety of products offered by the bank. Additionally, they will become proficient at credit analysis and financial modeling and assist with internal approval processes for credit underwriting, capital allocation, and various other internal committees.

The internship offers a paid stipend and covers all accommodation and travel-related costs. Upon successful completion of the program, outstanding students will be offered full-time roles.

To apply for the internship, interested applicants should look for a program that perfectly matches their courses and then apply. The application process is open on a rolling basis, and assessments often begin before the deadline, so it’s best to submit your application early for the best chance of being considered.

The Bank of America is committed to shaping the world of work to be equal and inclusive and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds. They aim to attract, retain and develop diverse talent within the bank and mirror the customers, clients and communities they serve.

Deportation Backlogs in Ireland: Legal Hurdles, Delays, and the Human Impact on Migrants
