Daviess County Health Students Can Apply for The Two $1,000 Scholarships

A $1,000 scholarship is being offered to two Daviess County students by the Daviess County Health Department. This is a chance for anybody seeking a degree in a health-related subject; it is not limited to high school pupils; persons with more education may also be eligible.

The application is available to interested parties via the Daviess County Health Department’s website by clicking this link and selecting “Forms.” Furthermore, a Facebook page for the Daviess County Health Department has a link to the application. It is essential to remember that the application deadline is March 8.

About The Daviess County $1,000 scholarship

The Daviess County Community Foundation is accepting applications for the Community Scholarship Programme. The application deadline is Friday, January 19, 2024, at noon.

Laura Hazelman, Regional Director of Community Engagement and Impact at the Daviess County Community Foundation, states, “Donors have honored their loved ones, high schools, or professions by creating endowment funds.” “Individuals, families, and organizations established community scholarship funds to support local students pursuing higher education. Their  Community Scholarship Programme is made up of all these scholarships together.

Students can apply for one or more scholarships as long as they fulfill the specific qualifying conditions. The application and information about each award are available at their official website.

Donors establish the eligibility standards and selection criteria, which are then published on the website. Every scholarship is different and helps students with diverse backgrounds, learning objectives, and financial situations.

Applications will be accepted until noon on Friday, January 19, 2024.  Awards are given based on a competitive procedure that may consider extracurricular activities, academic success, economic necessity, personal aspirations, educational objectives, and ethnicity or national origin. No consideration is given to race, creed, color, sex, religion, or national origin.
